Project Description
Résidence 46N74O Alt. 280 | A Photographic Perspective
At the heart of the Mont-Tremblant landscape, Résidence 46N74O Alt. 280 is a study in architectural adaptation, where built form responds to the rugged topography. Photographing this project required an approach that not only documented its design but also revealed the dialogue between structure and nature. The challenge was to translate the residence’s integration within its environment—how it settles into the hillside, framed by birch and maple trees, and how its materials echo the surrounding textures. The choice of angles was guided by this relationship. Low perspectives emphasize the way the structure rises from the rock, while aerial views illustrate its seamless connection to the land. Light was another crucial element, highlighting the interplay between glass, wood, and concrete as they shift between opacity and transparency throughout the day.Through a curated selection of images, the goal was to portray more than just architecture—it was about capturing the experience of moving through the space, the transitions between shelter and openness, and the visual rhythm of the design. This project is a testament to the power of photography in revealing the essence of a place, its materials, and the landscape that shaped it.
“A residence where architecture and nature merge seamlessly—Résidence 46N74O Alt. 280 captures the essence of its surroundings through a careful interplay of materials, light, and landscape
